A rare piece of British entertainment history, this solid bronze award statuette was presented to legendary singer Vince Hill for winning Male Vocalist of the Year at the 1978/79 Club Mirror National Club Acts Awards (held at Blazer's, Windsor).
Designed by acclaimed sculptor Norman Aspinall (Principal Lecturer in Postgraduate Fine Art at Manchester Polytechnic), this striking modernist bronze depicts a stylized jester holding comedy masks.
Aspinall's work has been exhibited internationally across Europe and the USA, making this both a valuable piece of show business memorabilia and a fine art sculpture in its own right.
