This intricately carved wooden panel, possibly once a table top and now a striking wall hanging, features a rich array of decorative motifs. The central design is a large, circular medallion with a floral or star-like pattern.
Flanking this central element are four carved lions, two on each side, depicted in a recumbent or watchful pose. T he entire panel is framed by a deeply carved border of continuous floral and foliage patterns, including what appear to be large leaves and blossoms.
